As much as water filtration is a science, it doesn’t have to break your head or the bank. With the Filter Bottle from 62 Waters, you can add your own tap water and watch as it filters through the activated carbon, resin, mineral stones, and particle filter. The filtration will remove sediment, rust, chlorine, and organic molecules so your water smells and tastes better. When it smells and tastes better, it’s just easier to keep up the healthy habit of drinking your required intake of water every day.
It is a gravity filter bottle, so you just fill up the top and gravity will do the rest. It fits onto any of 62 Waters’ dispensers (hot/cold, cold/cold, or the desktop dispenser – just unscrew the housing for 62 Waters’ water bottle and drop in the filter bottle’s float attached to the Filter Bottle). It can hold about 12l of water. The system is incredibly easy to assemble and disassemble for its monthly cleaning and sanitisation – all you need to do is wash it with some dishwashing soap and then also rinse it out with Milton or Jik. The filter needs to be replaced every 3 to 6 months depending on how much water is filtered through it. Due to the uncomplicated nature of the system, this can be done at home without any specialised knowledge.
Do be aware that the quality of your water will still influence the final filtered water. The Filter Bottle will not remove bacteria, viruses, and heavy metal. If your water does contain these, the filtration might not be adequate to ensure that the water is perfectly filtered. If the pipes in your area have recently undergone maintenance or if they burst and have been fixed, we strongly suggest switching to 62 Waters’ professionally filtered water bottles until your area’s water stabilises and you go back to using the Filter Bottle.
